Today, we made it over Forester pass, pretty exciting. We did about 19 miles, we just made dinner and setup camp, and it is freezing, we can see our breath.

And it’s (a great day?). I don’t have that much to say. I wish I did. We’re pretty tired and ready for bed. It’s like 7:30 and tomorrow we’re gonna go 3.5 miles to the trail head, 9 miles and hopefully a 22 mile hitch in (to Independence.

So there was a lot of snow on the way down from Forester. A lot of postholing, falling, and cold ice block feet. That was awesome.
