We’re going to digest for a few hours and hope that Cindy’s eyes go back to normal. Then we’ll take the half mile journey to Subway to eat and lounge some more.

We are aware that the rattlesnake video is not working, but we can’t fix it until Wrightwood in 6 days. Sorry!
It’s a great day for walking, I wish I weren’t sick and I could enjoy it more. Oh well, I’m feeling better than yesterday.

Breakfast of dehydrated mashed potatoes and lasagne with new friends. We’re ten miles outside of Big Bear. We’re very excited to take a zero day tomorrow in town.

We have a 14 mile mostly downhill walk to Big Bear City. Sandwiches and Pizza awaits. I’m very excited.

The climb was pretty tough, but we’re back at 8500 ft. and it’s good to be out of the desert again.
Cindy had a very up close and personal moment with a rattlesnake. We’ll post the video tomorrow when we reach Big Bear City.

Good morning from Fuller Ridge. We got little lost yesterday for the first time, but we worked it out.
Yesterday we were over 9000ft. Today we will descend to 1200! Ugh, all that hard work gone.

Yesterday we had jet fighters flying BELOW us doing top-gun type maneuvers. It was amazing. Cindy had a rough day yesterday, but she’s doing MUCH better today. Tomorrow we eat breakfast at Paradise Cafe!
