We hiked for ten miles last night until we lost the trail. Two more miles to make up today in the heat until we get to water and wait for the sun to go down again.

Here is the much-anticipated rat-water video. This was taken last Saturday at the Rodriguez Spur water tank. It’s a tank for holding water for firefighters, but it is often used by PCT hikers desperate for water 9 miles before the Scissors Crossing water cache.
